Melissa A. Lane, EA

Professional Experience

Melissa Lane has over 15 years of public accounting experience working with National "Big 4" and local firms.

Throughout her career she has worked with a variety of entity types and has extensive experience in tax with closely held businesses and high net-worth individuals. She advises business clients on entity formation and assists with compliance for federal, state and local requirements. Her work with high net-worth individuals involves tax planning strategies and federal and state tax compliance.

Education

Melissa received both a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University. Go Cougs!

Personal Activities

Melissa is an outdoor enthusiast! She spends her free time walking Lincoln Park and Alki Beach in West Seattle and camping in various Pacific NW locations. Melissa discovered the thrill of mountain biking two years ago and has had the opportunity to ride on exciting (and terrifying) terrain including Whistler, BC and Bend, OR. Melissa also volunteers at her children’s school and is a member of the School Commission.

Carrie M. Williams, CPA

Professional Experience

Carrie Williams is a Certified Public Accountant. Her work includes an emphasis in individual taxation as well as closely held and family businesses. Formerly with National “Big 4” and regional CPA firms, Carrie has significant experience with federal, state, and local tax return preparation and planning for businesses and individuals.

Education

Carrie has a B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Seattle University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Personal Activities

In the summer Carrie enjoys camping around the Pacific Northwest with her family, boating on Lake Chelan, and jogging. She is also an avid reader and enjoys scuba diving, even in the cold waters of Washington. In fall and winter, you’ll find her at the Seahawks games or in front of the fireplace playing cards with her kids.
